On arrival welcome the clients to the Muscat International Airport.

Lunch and dinner are optional.

Day 02 - Day at the beach

Morning breakfast at the hotel & proceed to the Marina for Dolphin watching.

Proceed back to the hotel.

Evening clients can take a taxi and go to the Muttrah souk area and walk in the Cornish.

After Breakfast meet our representitive who will come to deliver the vehicle to the clients and explain your self drive round trip.

Please note that although we have given suggestions for what you might like to do each day in the itinerary below, you will need to pay for entrance fees and most excursions (unless specified otherwise) locally.

First visit the the grand mosque(Friday the mosque will be closed)

Proceed to Sur. From Muscat, visitors reach Quriyat, a small coastal fishing village and proceed to Tiwi and Fins where a beautiful white sandy beach beckons for a relaxing swim. The journey then continues on the graded track to Wadi Shab, one of Oman's most spectacular wadis, flowing with fresh water most of the year alongside banana plantations and rocky paths.

The drive along the coastal road takes visitors to Sur and Ras Al Hadd where overnight stay is arranged. After dinner, visitors drive to Ras al Jynz, a protected Green turtle nesting reserve. During the nesting season, turtles can be seen laying eggs at night.

(It is recommended to wear comfortable clothes & walking shoes for this trip)

* Non-Muslims are allowed to visit the mosque every day, except Friday, from 8:30 until 11:00 am. Visitors are asked to dress modestly and in a way befitting places of worship. Women are also required to cover their hair.

Day 04 - Visit Wadi Bani Khalid / Wahiba Sands Desert

After breakfast, checkout and proceed to Wadi Bani Khalid a great place for hiking and swimming which comprises of small pretty villages.

Later, proceed to Wahiba Sands also known as Sharqiya Sands where flat plain quickly becomes bounded on either side by mountainous sand dunes that change colour as the hours march from pale yellow to rustic red and back again. Head to the top of a sand dune and watch the sun set, moon rise. Spend night under canvas at a Bedouin camp in the desert and also enjoy dune bashing experience to remember.

Day 05 - Jabrin Castle / Nizwa fort

Early morning, enjoy sunrise in the desert and capture the scenic beauty in camera. Proceed to Nizwa. Experience the true sights and sounds of Oman on this tour. Begin by driving to the Dakhalia region of Oman, via the Samail passes and the three abandoned villages of Birkat Al-Mouz. Visit Nizwa, the ancient capital in the interior region. Stroll through its famous souq where silver and coppersmiths produce exquisite ornaments in front of your eyes. Souvenir hunters will treasure the famous Omani khanjar, coffee pot and copper vessels. Proceed to the historic Nizwa Fort for a visit before proceeding to the Jabrin Castle for a visit.

We break for lunch at a Local restaurant.

Day 06 – Jabal Shams

After breakfast, proceed to Jabal Shams, also known as Oman’s Grand Canyon. Picnic lunch or a  local resturant lunch will be provided.

The drive continues through graded tracks, stopping at Wadi Ghul, a fascinating village surrounded by lofty mountain ranges. The panoramic mountain drive brings visitors to Jabal Shams (Mountain of the Sun), the second highest peak in the Arab Gulf region, rising to over 2000 metres. The picturesque setting offers incredible views of the rugged landscape. A visit to the mountain village of Misfah offers a rewarding study of ancient architecture seen in stone houses.

Day 07 – Muscat

Breakfast at Jabal Shams. Check out & proceed  back to Muscat.

Arrive Muscat. We will collect the vehicle from the clients at the Hotel at 18:00 hours

Overnight in Muscat.

Day 08 – Muscat – Airport

After breakfast proceed to the Muscat international airport in time for the flight back home.
