Meet the Detroves driver/guide at the lobby of the Dubai International Airport. (Paging area will be after Starbucks coffee at the lobby)

DESERT SAFARI (Duration of excursion : approx 5 – 6 Hours)

At 15:00 you will be picked up from your hotel for the desert safari. No visit to Dubai would be complete without a trip to the desert. You will experience an afternoon and evening full of adventure and glide over the spectacular sand dunes of the desert. Afterward, continue to the desert camp with a stop along the way to witness the unforgettable sunset. A traditional welcome greeting awaits you with Arabic coffee, tea, and dates, while the charcoal fire and traditional oven are lit to prepare dinner. You'll have some time to relax in the Arabian tents, which are equipped with carpets and cushions for comfort. At the camp, you'll have the chance to get a henna tattoo painted on you or experience an unforgettable camel ride while waiting for the highlight of the evening, which includes an exotic belly dance to the rhythms of Arabia. The evening concludes with a delicious three-course barbecue menu of various meats and salads, served under the stars, accompanied by authentic Arabic music. (STANDARD SAFARI)

EXPLORE DUBAI IN 5 HOURS (Duration of excursion : 5 Hours)

Today you will explore Dubai city (Includes 05 hours only. Therefore, clients will need to decide how they should spend their time at each location. Alternatively extra hours can be booked at a supplement as given below)

You will make a photo stop at the imposing Jumeirah Mosque, which inspires with excellent Islamic architecture. After a short drive, snap photos of the Burj Al-Arab, the sail-shaped hotel on its own man-made island. Then visit Madinat Jumeirah, a modern representation of a traditional Arab village. Then, see one of Dubai's most famous landmarks, the Atlantis Hotel on the Palm Island of Jumeirah. Soak up the atmosphere of modern Dubai Marina before heading to the UAE's largest shopping mall, Dubai Mall, and possibly visit Burj Khalifa. If time permits, visit the old town of Dubai including Bur Dubai, Deira, Al Seef areas. Stroll through the Gold Souk, Spice Souk, and Perfume Souk.

Conditions for the city tour of Dubai: The city tour includes an English driver and will be within Dubai city limits. Please note he will only serve as a driver and will not guide at stops/sites. If you require a Guide, a supplement of USD 175 will apply for 05 hours (Recommended). Please note entrance tickets to the location during the city tour are not included and will have to be pre-booked or paid directly by clients at the location. In case of an extension beyond 05 hours, a supplement of USD 35 per hour will apply for the driver and vehicle. If a guide is booked an additional fee of USD 40 will apply per hour)

DINNER CRUISE (Duration of excursion: approx 2 – 3 Hours)

In the late evening get picked up (Between 1900-1930h) from your hotel on a shared transfer basis for the Dhow Cruise*** with buffet dinner on the Marina. Boarding starts at 2045h and set sail at 2100h.

Enjoy a one-hour dhow cruise on the Creek including a full-course buffet + live show. Sail along the sparkling waters as you admire awe-inspiring views of parts best views of Dubai Marina, JBR, and Blue Water Island. Return to the dock at 2245h. Transfer back to the hotel on a shared transfer basis.

Supplement: Private return transfers (Recommended) for Dhow Cruise can be arranged at a cost of USD 50 per vehicle (Up to 6 pax)

You will arrive to Sri Lanka at TBA & meet the Detroves driver/guide at the airport lobby. Thereafter proceed to the hotel (40 KM / 45m) for check-in. (Standard check- in time is at 1400h)

Evening engage in a city tour of Colombo –

Colombo (Duration of visit : approx 1 – 1 ½  Hours)

Colombo tour includes a drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree-lined residential, Cinnamon Gardens. Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749. You have a chance to see a Hindu Temple, the famous Buddhist Temple known as the Gangarama, and the Jami Ul Alfar Jumma Mosque of Colombo

Day 5 - Colombo - Sigiriya

After breakfast proceed to Sigiriya (165 KM / 4h30m), and in the afternoon climb Sigiriya rock.

Sigiriya Rock Fortress (Duration of visit : approx 3 – 3 ½  Hours)

Sigiriya Located a few hours’ drive from Colombo, Sigiriya is a magnificent rock fortress built in the 5th century A.D.  This majestic Citadel in the sky was the refuge of King Kasyapa and is world-renowned for its Mirror Wall’, which consists of poems and paragraphs carved by some of the thousands of visitors who visited the rock many years ago, and for its magnificent frescoes, similar to the Ajantha frescoes of India.

Day 6 - Sigiriya - Polonnaruwa - Sigiriya

After breakfast visit the Polonnaruwa ancient kingdom. (57 KM / 01 ½ h)

Polonnaruwa Ancient Kingdom (Duration of visit : approx 2 – 2 ½ Hours) 

It would take you awhile to fathom that such a city every existed many years ago and after you return to your true senses the journey through this colossal city would be nothing less than magical. Polonnaruwa is Sri Lanka's second oldest kingdom and features a plethora of ruins and places of religious worship. Some of the many interesting places to visit in Polonnaruwa include the Gal Viharaya (Stone temple), Lankathilake, Tivanka Image House, Nissanka Latha Mandapaya, the Audience Hall and the Vatadage.

Day 7 - Sigiriya - Kandy

After breakfast proceed to Kandy (90 KM/ 2h30m) enroute visit Dambulla Cave Temple and  Matale Spice Garden

Dambulla Golden Cave Temple (Duration of visit : approx 1 – 1 ½ Hours)   

Designated as a world heritage site, the Dambulla Temple is located on a gigantic rock towering more than 160 m above the surrounding area. The Rock itself is more than 1.5 km around its base and summit is at 550 km. The caves on this rock were the refuge of King Walagamba’s when he was in exile for 14 years and feature a mixture of religious and worldly paintings and sculptures. Several reclining Buddha's which includes the 15 meter long sculpture of the dying Buddha.

On completion proceed to engage in a Kandy City which includes visiting the Temple of Tooth.

Kandy Temple and City (Duration of visit : approx 1 ½  – 2 Hours)

The Sri Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a temple in the city of Kandy in Sri Lanka. It was built within the royal palace complex which houses the only surviving relic of Buddha, a tooth, which is venerated by Buddhists. The relic has played an important role in local politics since ancient times; it's believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country, which caused the ancient kings to protect it with great effort. Kandy was the capital of the Sinhalese Kings from 1592 to 1815, fortified by the terrain of the mountains and the difficult approach. The city is a world heritage site declared by UNESCO, in partly due to the temple.

After Breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya (80 KM/ 3h) enroute visit Peradeniya Botanical Gardens and Tea Factory and Plantation. 

Royal Botanical Gardens (Duration of visit : approx 1 ½  – 2 Hours) 

The history of the Royal Botanical Gardens dates as far back as 1371 when King Wickramabahu III ascended the throne and kept court at Peradeniya near Mahaweli Ganga. Later, in the reign of King Kirti Sri Rajasinghe from 1747 to 1780 this was made a Royal Garden and from 1780 – 1798 King Rajadhi Rajasinghe resided therein, where a temporary residence was erected for him.

In the afternoon engage in a Nuwara Eliya city tour.

Nuwara Eliya City (Duration of visit : approx 40 mins)

Nuwara Eliya is also known as 'Little' England', was the favorite hill station of the British who tried to create Nuwara Eliya into a typical English Village. The old brick Post office, country house like hill club, with its hunting pictures, mounted hunting trophies and fish, and it's strict formal dinner attire; the 18-hole golf course, race course etc., all remind you of 'England'.

After breakfast proceeds to Nau Oya Railway station.You will take the train from Nanu oya (0920h) to Ella (1230h)

The train journey from Nanu Oya to Ella in Sri Lanka is widely regarded as one of the most extraordinary and visually stunning experiences in the world. Spanning approximately 25 kilometers (15.5 miles), this scenic route traverses the captivating landscapes of Sri Lanka's hill country. As the train ascends gradually into the mountains, passengers are treated to breathtaking panoramic vistas of verdant tea plantations, ethereal valleys veiled in mist, captivating waterfalls, and dense forests teeming with life

Securing 2nd class tickets for train rides in Sri Lanka is subject to availability, with a 75% probability of success because of our connections. These tickets are sold by the Railway department 30 days before the journey, in limited quantities. If 2nd class tickets are unavailable, clients can opt to travel in 3rd class without seat reservations, which may require standing during the journey. Alternatively, clients have the option to travel by tour vehicle instead of taking the train. It's important to note that while rare, delays and cancellations can occur in the Sri Lankan train system without prior notice.

Early morning(0530h) engage in a Safari at Yala National Park – With packed breakfast from the hotel.

Yala National Park (Duration of visit : approx 3 ½  – 4 Hours)

The Yala National Park in southern Sri Lanka has the world's highest concentration of leopards. Much of the nature reserve is parkland, but it also includes jungle, beaches, freshwater lakes, rivers and scrubland.  In addition to leopards the Yala National Park is also home to substantial numbers of elephants, crocodiles, wild boar, water buffalo, grey langurs and many more varieties of large animals. But that’s not all; the park is also home to birds of prey such as the white-bellied sea eagles, waders, painted Storks, the Indian peafowl and the Sri Lanka jungle fowl.

Thereafter proceed to Galle and  engage in a Galle city tour. (135KM/ 3h )

Galle (Duration of visit : approx 1 ½  – 2 Hours)

Galle is a town situated on the southwestern tip of Sri Lanka, 119 km (74 mi) from Colombo. Galle was known as Gimhathiththa (although Ibn Batuta in the 14th century refers to it as Qali) before the arrival of the Portuguese in the 16th century, when it was the main port on the island. Galle reached the height of its development in the 18th century, before the arrival of the British, who developed the harbor at Colombo.

On completion proceed to Bentota (70 KM/ 1 ½ hr.)  for drop off.
